Healing through Breathwork

Healing through breathwork is a therapeutic approach that uses conscious and controlled breathing techniques to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being. It's based on the idea that the way we breathe can impact our physical and emotional state, and by altering our breathing patterns, we can achieve various therapeutic benefits.

Breathwork has been my way home.

My way to self-love. My way to presence.

I have struggled most of my life with anxiety and depression. When I discovered Breathwork I knew that the trajectory of my life was forever changed. Not only is Breathwork the modality that I have used to treat my own anxiety and depression, but it was clear that I was meant to share this practice with others to help them with their own healing journeys. I co-founded the Frequency Breathwork Practice as a way to bring this powerful practice to thousands of others.

Breathwork can be used as a stand alone therapy or in conjunction with talk therapy, IFS, plant medicine or psychedelic therapy. If used in conjunction with other therapies, breathwork becomes an incredibly powerful integration tool between sessions. Because breathwork is an embodied practice, it allows for a deep release and healing of trauma that has become stuck in the body, what Eckhart Tolle calls the Pain Body.

Breathwork has the ability to help us heal - mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually - not from someone or something outside of us, but from the inside, from within. This practice is an opportunity to explore non-ordinary states of consciousness consciously. In this liminal space the breath allows us to release stuck and suppressed negative emotions and trauma in the body to make space for healing to occur. Through breathwork we can touch feelings of deep self-love, bliss and unity consciousness, an embodied sense of oneness that we are all connected. Tears, laughter and unexpected feelings and emotions often surface as we move through layers of conscious and unconscious programming, patterns and behaviors.
