Breathwork
Journey Preparation

I’m so honored to work with you on your healing journey. Below you will find some information about a breathwork session with me and what you can expect. Since Breathwork opens the door to spirit and to our healing, awakening and transformation it is a beautiful opportunity to prepare your body and mind each time you do a journey.

About breathwork

Breathwork allows you to explore non-ordinary states of consciousness consciously. My breathwork journeys are 7th dimension cosmic psychoactivations, which allow you to access higher heart consciousness and self-love by unlocking DMT endogenously in the brain. In this liminal space the breath allows you to release stuck and suppressed negative emotions and trauma in the body to make space for healing to occur. Through breathwork you can touch feelings of deep self-love, bliss and unity consciousness, an embodied sense of oneness that we are all connected. Tears, laughter and unexpected feelings and emotions often surface as we move through layers of conscious and unconscious programming, patterns, stories and behaviors. The breathwork activations help you connect with your intuition (higher self), your creativity (divine purpose) and break free of addictions, traumas and limiting beliefs. While in the active breathing, our brainwaves shift as the Default Mode Network (the thinking mind or ego) slows down and softens and we move into our heart, allowing neurogenesis to occur, the rewiring of our brain.

Breathwork can be used as a stand alone therapy or in conjunction with plant medicine or psychedelic therapy. If used in conjunction with psychedelic assisted therapy, breathwork becomes an incredibly powerful integration tool between sessions. Because breathwork is an embodied somatic practice, it allows for a deep release and healing of trauma that has become stuck in the body, what Eckhart Tolle calls the Pain Body.

Integration after your session:

In the days following your session, the medicine of the breath continues to work, and the integration is critical to allow for the full potency of the journey. You might receive downloads or visions. Take some space from friends and family to be alone, even if only for an hour each day, to allow for the deeper healing and integration to unfold.

  1. Self-care
It is critical to nurture yourself in whatever ways feel most comforting to you. Here are some ways that I have found helpful, but listen to what your body, mind and heart need. Water is essential. Drink the purest water you can find. Take a shower or even better, a bath if possible and add salts to the bath. Eat clean organic foods for the next 12 hours and refrain from alcohol, as it lowers your frequency or vibration, while the breathwork raises it. Light a candle and turn the lights down or off. Experiment with applying essential oils to your body, and see how they create different feeling states.

  2. Journal
Keep a journal by your side so that you can capture any insights, memories, visions or creative ideas directly following the breathwork. Additionally, before going to bed that night, write down anything that has stayed with you and feels especially potent. The next day it is important to journal as well, especially if you don’t already have a journaling practice. Allow for a stream of consciousness and when you reread what you have written, see what words carry the deepest resonance. Ask yourself if your intention has shifted since the breathwork or revealed a new intention and what you have learned and experienced. Listen to your intuition and capture anything that feels like it comes from a deeper part of you, even if you can’t yet make sense of it. For some people a mantra appears as they write, something they can return to and say to themselves over and over as their north star.

  3. Nature
Find time to take yourself outside into Mother Nature to feel her energy, her love and her messages for you. The trees, the waters, the rocks, the dirt, the animals, the birds, all are alive and ready to commune with you when your heart is open. Grounding with Mother Earth helps you more deeply be in your body, in your root chakra, and feel grounded and safe. Even if you live in a city, simply find a tree nearby or local park and allow yourself to connect to these healing energies.
